1. Agreement between Machu Picchu Latin America & our Clients
- To secure a booking with Machupicchu Latin America, the Client must deposit 50% of the total price.
- A booking is confirmed when Machupicchu Latin America has received the deposit from the Client.
- The contract is made between Machupicchu Latin America and the Client via e-mail, aware of and accept these conditions.
2. About payments
- The balance of the amount due must be paid to MachuPicchu Latin America 40 days before departure.
- In the case of bookings made within 40 days of the departure date, the full amount of package price has to be paid at once.
- Payment can either be made by wire transfer, direct deposit, credit card.
- All prices are based with United States of America Dollar.
- Our prices do not include Peruvian sales taxes. Those exempt from paying this tax must meet the legal standards. For an exemption from the IGV (General Sales Tax) the visitor (guest) must prove he or she meets the international treaty standards honored in Peru by showing a passport, or national identity card. Please note that visitors who have stayed in Peru longer than 60 calendar days are no longer exempt from IGV (General Sales Tax). Also please make sure that your identity documents are legible.
- Please note that for large groups (e.g. 10 or more travelling together) or special quotes and services, different payment deadlines may apply and payment will typically be requested at least 50 days in advance of your departure date.
3. Cancellation by the Client
- If the Client would like to cancel the booking at any time, the cancellation must be communicated to MachuPicchu Latin America in writing.
- The cancellations are subject to the following conditions:
- 45 – 30 Days before departure date, we will issue 50% refund.
- 29 – 20 Days before departure date, we will issue 25% refund.
- 19 – 8 Days before departure date, we will issue 10% refund.
- 7 – 1 No refunds apply.
- In case the bookings are partially cancelled, the remaining party may have to pay additional charges to adjust the arrangements (Single Supplements). To postpone or change the travel dates, an extra fees will be charged if needed according the reservation status regarding to original travel dates.
4. Changes and Cancellation by Machu Picchu Latin America
- Machu Picchu Latin America will guarantee and do the impossible to honor all our trips as offered and advertised.
- Machu Picchu Latin America might change or modify your itinerary if any force majeure situation happens closer or during your trvael dates. If any changes happens we will inform you inmediatly to coordinate the best for you and try not to affect your vacation. In Peru according our experience force majeure sittuations could be strikes that my block any travel route or natural desasters so that will make us change our plans for your safety.
- In some cases extra fees night apply depending any particular situations.
5. Passport, Visa and Vaccinations
- It is the responsibility of the Client to be in possession of a valid passport (to enter in Peru the passport must be valid at least 6 months+), visa permits, inoculations and preventative medicines as may be required by the authorities of the visited countries for the duration of the tour. Information about these matters or related items is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of Machu Picchu Latin America.
6. Our responsibility
- Machu Picchu Latin America will ensure to provide and honor the travel vacation as agreed with the client according the final itinerary unless any force majeure situation happens as described above.
